This was a custom desk for a client's office. The walnut legs act as the "casework" for the drawers, which operate on exposed runners. When the drawer is pulled out, the void is visible, just to add a little interest. The fronts of the drawers are curved and sculpted, creating a finger pull. The bottom drawers hold file folders. The pencil drawer has an asymmetrical ebony pull.
