Pottery for teens with Amy Roadman
It's been a difficult few months for students, especially teens. Here's a great creative outlet for beginners and those who have done some pottery wheel in school. We've set it up for working on the wheel 2 days per week for three weeks, plus one glazing session. Amy will cover centering on the wheel and basic throwing techniques: how to make cups, bowls and other vessels, how to alter thrown pieces, and make and attach handles. This is strictly a pottery wheel class. Slab work will not be explored in this class.
Registration includes all materials needed, one bisque firing and one glaze firing. Classes are limited to 6 students, ensuring a high level of individual attention, and are reserved on a first-paid basis.
