Pottery Wheel Intensive: Teapots
With Frank DeFabo
2-Day Intensive
|
Join us at Main Exhibit Gallery's Art Center as we welcome Frank DeFabo, owner of FDP Pottery Studio in Pleasant Unity for this two-day pottery intensive on teapots.
This class is for intermediate pottery students who are proficient at throwing and centering on the wheel.
A well-functioning teapot is a challenging pottery project. In this two-session workshop, Frank DeFabo, a professional potter and owner of FD Pottery, will focus on building the teapot body, adding a spout and handle, and creating the lid.
A third session will be scheduled for students to come in and glaze their pots after they've been bisque fired.
• Registration includes the use of all clay tools, one bisque firing and one glaze firing, including glaze and clay for the project.
• We provide cone 4-6 glazes from Standard Ceramics, however you are free to bring your own for your use if you require special colors.
• Workshop is limited to 7 students, ensuring a high level of individual attention, and are reserved on a first-paid basis.
