All American Made - Since 1994

"This gallery is one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. All kinds of art, pottery, fun socks, jewelry, unique greeting cards (one artist used her own photography on them) and the most creative professionally crafted wood furniture and sculptures and boxes!"

~ Jo Anne L.

"This is our go to spot for handcrafted studio furniture and curated artwork. We always bring out of town friends and relatives here and they always want to come back. We discovered this gallery 25+ Years ago. It was great then and is even better now. A fine family owned business showcasing local and other North American talent. A must see!"

~ Griff H.

About us

Main Exhibit Gallery & Art Center, Ligonier’s oldest fine art and craft outlet, located on West Main Street, opened in August 1994 and features work by established and emerging artists from Pennsylvania and across the United States. Carrying only American-made products not only supports our American craftsmen, but also enables us to know our artists, their reputations, and the quality of their work. It also offers us the flexibility to offer our clientele specially-commissioned work to suit their particular needs.

The gallery is also a venue for owners Mandy & Paul Sirofchuck to display their own artwork. Mandy, a stained glass artist, has her studio just below the Gallery's main level, where she designs and creates stained glass windows and panels. Paul, an architect and fine woodworker, designs and crafts contemporary wooden furniture. Paul’s reputation for award-winning furniture design and craftsmanship draws clientele from many areas, including Pittsburgh, eastern PA, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Florida, and Canada. Their desire to see more items on display prompted Mandy and Paul to expand Main Exhibit’s space in August 2014 with a 2,000-sq-ft handicap-accessible addition, which now includes a lower level Art Center.

This year, 2024, Mandy & Paul are proud to be celebrating 30 years as a Gallery and 10 years as an Art Center! Join our mailing list or follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with Main Exhibit's latest classes and events.

Helping people of all ages and levels
explore their creative side
since 2014

Picture
In August 2014, Main Exhibit Gallery expanded to include an Art Center to provide a creative outlet for the local community. Today, we offer classes and workshops with local artists in painting, pottery, stained and fused glass, drawing, fiber arts, printmaking, and beyond! For our current class offerings, visit the "Art Classes" tab. Go from spectator to creator!

But "I'm Not Creative..."

We hear this phrase SO often. Most people don't realize just how creative they are! We offer classes for ALL ages and ALL levels, especially beginners! No creativity required! We'll teach you everything you need to know to create the projects we advertise. Come ready to learn new skills and, most importantly, to enjoy!
