Painting/Drawing Open Studio

Mondays 1-3 PM

Are you someone with painting or drawing experience looking for a space to create, but not really interested in a class? Look no further! Join us on Monday afternoons from 1-3 PM for our Painting/Drawing Open Studio. Bring your own materials and inspiration (laptop, tablet, photograph, object, etc.), and enjoy the camaraderie of other creative people, as well as project assistance from artist and instructor Clair F. Maier. Clair specializes in oils and graphite, but has experience with watercolor, pastel, charcoal, and colored pencil, and a BA in Studio Art from Saint Vincent College.

These sessions are perfect if you previously took a painting or drawing class with us, or have some prior art experience! If you're new to art, we suggest trying a beginner class first. Ages 14 and Up.

Cost is $10 per session. Payable in person with cash or check at the start of the Open Studio.

    June & July Dates

    • Mondays, 1-3 PM. 
    • Space is limited. Registration is required.
    • (If no one is signed up, Open Studio will be canceled that day and anyone who shows up will be out of luck!)
    • Bring your own materials and inspiration. We provide the community and fun!
    • $10 per session (unless marked otherwise), payable in person at the Open Studio.
