A Joy to Use!

Paul has done extensive research to ensure he uses only top quality grinding mechanisms in his salt and pepper mills, also known as grinders. He opted for the Crushgrind patented ceramic mechanism made in Denmark; using ceramic over metal ensures that the mechanism is not corroded by salt over time. Perfect for pepper corns and salt crystals, these grinders can also crush herbs or spices! They make great gifts for gourmet cooks and foodies, and add a touch of sculpture to any table, counter, or sideboard. We recommend purchasing two in different woods to help differentiate between salt and pepper.

To fill these mills, simply pull off the top, fill with your choice of spice, and replace. Each mill has a durable, food-safe finish that can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. They should not be submerged in water, though! A simple wipe will do the trick. All Crushgrind mechanisms are adjustable with multiple settigns to give an excellent range of grinds from coarse to fine. The coarseness of the grind can be altered by turning the little gray wheel at the bottom of the mill.
